Sports Relief Corporation (SRC) was conceived in mid 2009 by its founders who are avid golfers, based on the epiphany that most golfers have some sort of pain (back, elbow, knee, wrist, etc.) that can inhibit the golf swing or affect the ability to enjoy a round of golf, however there is no readily available supply at golf clubs today. Typical pains requiring relief are lower back and neck pain, tendonitis, knee injuries, headache, arthritis and other joint related afflictions. Doctors suggest taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as Ibuprofen (Advil) or Naproxen Sodium (Aleve). These drugs reduce swelling and pain. Another common drug is Acetaminophen (Tylenol), which may also relieve pain, but it will not reduce swelling.

After extensive research it was determined that most golf clubs do not offer an over the counter (OTC) pain relief solution for sale, even though clubs are asked on a daily basis by one or more patrons for Advil, Tylenol, Tums or some other OTC pain or discomfort (Tums) relief solution.

SRC has established wholesale distribution agreements with the makers of Extra Strength Tylenol & Tums (Johnson & Johnson), Advil (Wyeth) and Aleve (Bayer), for sale into golf clubs throughout North America. Together with a high quality custom designed point of Sale (POS) display, SRC is providing golf clubs with an important pain relief solution for golfers of all ages and abilities.
